Katong Hostel Pte Ltd was established in 2003. It comprises 14 blocks and currently houses up to 600 people. The hostel has the capacity to house 800 students, thus making it the largest private student hostel around.
The management team of Katong Hostel Pte Ltd ensures that most needs of the student occupants are taken care of. Privacy as well as safety are ensured with CCTVs installed in most areas. The place is furbished with cooking, washing, studying and telephone facilities. A computer room with Internet connection makes it possible for student to do online researches. There are also common areas for interaction. Recreational facilities such as a basketball court are available within the premise to help ease stressful tensions.
Other services such as common telephone room, convenient store, childcare and even $2 laundry service are readily available. Katong Hostel not only gives you a Touch of Homely Ambience but it's definitely a one-stop-fits-all hostel.

(Standard comprises study tables and cupboard)
Economy style
- 5 double deck beds
- Comprises cupboards
- Study tables for each person (unless it's a camp)
For Standard and Economy style, they will share
- Common pantry.
- TV/Living room and toilet/bath area are available at each level.
- Bathroom equipped with heaters
- All rooms are air-conditioned.
- CCTVs are installed within the premises and securities would be on patrol to ensure you a safe environment. Student pass would be required as a safety measure.
